After staying home with my kids for 10 years, I was able to get a job with Ralston Purina Company in the Grocery Products Division starting in their coupon department. From there, I processed sales orders for 24 Regional Sales Offices all over the US, then moved to the company's restructured CheckMark Communications in-house ad agency as a Print Media Manager. I retired after working at Purina for 27 years in April 2002, as a Project Manager.
