I am still working as a nurse but have finally cut down to 3 days a week. Since I'm planning on being one of those centenarians I'm still plugging along in my career. However, if I don't last long, I've decided to retire from my current job as it's time to start giving back again. My girls and their husbands are in Seattle and Colorado Springs and my husband's family is in the NYC area so most of my travel these days are famcations. However, the Rocky Mountains, Seattle and Manhattan are pretty good vacation destinations.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in September (when the summer's through.....).

My adopted sister, Donna, was in our class, also. I had the A's and she had the boyfriends. Looking back, I would have traded some of those A's!
After HS graduation, I went onto UMSL, majoring in pinocle and volley ball, a career that was short lived. After working 2 yrs in boring offices, I went to nursing school and then SLU for my BSN.

Mr. Funk was my favorite teacher. He made history come alive and I can still see him sharing his exuberance about his 2 favorite characters, Napoleon and Queen Victoria. He gave me a lifelong passion for history.
