71 years of friendship is amazing. Luv to know how misaligned he was, very funny comment. But here is not the time or place. You were lucky knowing him for so long. But if I can ask, what grade school did you guys go to, or was the relationship between neighbors ? At your convenience.

I had to look Jim up in the Saga and I remembered him right away. Nice guy.

Great guy. Genuine.  Indeed hilarious. Always smiling. A sly coconspirator. 

I remember Odie ( his brothers name for him - and I never new what his real name was until now) mostly from what his Mom and brothers would mention about him. And everyone thought he was, frankly, a little bit above the average thinker. Which pretty much describes all the Rummel boys. Not that I'd ever say that in public. 

A very nice girl who was suprisingly personable. 

Just a great guy.  Always had a smiile on his face and a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. 

One of my favorites! She had a wonderful sly sense of humor.
