Sharon Hunn Balsavias

I came to Normandy High School as a "new" student to the school which was the beginning of my junior year. It was a difficult transition for me as I had moved from St. Charles where I knew and interacted with everyone.  I knew only one or two other people attending Normandy.  Elaine befriended me and I will never forget that!  She was a very special person. She communicated with me a few times over the years and always approached those conversations as though we had been best friends.  I still think of her often and always with a fondness in my heart for how special she was. I think of her as resting in peace and yet having a key position at the right hand of God.
