Mary, So sad to hear of Tom's passing. As one of his classmates, we played baseball togerther as the "COUNTRY CAB" team during our grade school years and had great memories of that time. I remember that his dad got us white t-shirts with tthe COUNTY CAB letters in red that became our official team baseball "suit". It was our first taste of becoming a "Professional Team" with a professional uniform. We lived in a neighborhood community that really had a very positive influence on us while growing up.  He was a good friend and I will always remember him as a great friend. I hope that you will know that he was loved by all of us.
